Our Management Team


The DS2 management team has over 60 years combined experience in the hi-tech industry and has acquired extensive expertise in leading companies and projects to success.

Each team member has finely honed business acumen and extensive experience that lend them unique insight into global markets and best practices to lead new companies to success.  The DS2 management team brings with them the added benefit of important business connections and relationships worldwide that have been cultivated during their careers. These greatly enhance DS2 ability to bring fledgling enterprises into the global market.
 

  • Danny Hacohen – Managing Director and Partner


    Mr. Danny Hacohen came to DS2 International Ltd from DSP Group where he held the executive position of Corporate VP of Business Operations and was responsible for the entire business operations of the group which included its supply chain, planning, IT and customer service.

    Prior to DSP, Mr. Hacohen's professional experience was primarily in hi-tech and operations management at the Emblaze Group where he held the position of COO and VP of sales and Business Development for the group’s fabless semiconductors and mobile devices portfolio.

    Prior to joining the Emblaze Group, Mr. Hacohen served as the Vice President of Sales for Tower Semiconductor from 1996 to 2004 and as Senior Director of Materials and Logistics with National Semiconductor from 1986 to 1996.

    In addition to his leadership role at DS2 International, Mr. Hacohen currently serves as VP Business Development and Marketing and Board Member at RED Micro Wire, a start-up semiconductor company that is an off-shoot of the successful DS2 business concept.     Mr. Hacohen also serves as Board Member of Sol-Chip, a solar energy chip developer, another DS2 company (read more about Sol-Chip in the DS2 case study portfolio).

    Mr. Hacohen completed his BA degree in Social Science & Mathematics at Haifa University and MBA studies at the University of Bradford.
